Venue Check Ins
GoVPs can be earned through Venue Check-Ins at GoVida Verified Venues. You will only get the GoVPs in accordance with our points logic. To find out more about our GoVPs logic, click this link here.
A GoVida Verified Venue is a venue where different types of exercise and/or wellbeing activities takes place. These can range from gyms, to swimming pools, to meditation centres and yoga studios, to language and art classes and many more.
How can I verify my local Venue?
If a venue is not already verified, you as a user can submit a Venue Verification Request through the app. To do this:
- Press the big purple plus at the bottom of the screen
- Choose “Check-In at Wellbeing Venue“
- Search for your local venue in the search bar or press “Nearby Wellbeing Venues”
- Then click on the “Verify Now” button (Fig 1)
How will I know if my venue is verified?
GoVida will respond to the verification request within 48 hours. You will receive a notification from the GoVida app detailing whether or not your venue fulfills the verification criteria.
We believe that “variety is the spice of life” and that there are many different types of activities that have great wellbeing benefits. We examine each venue and we aim to determine each venue verification request within 48 hours.
It is important to note that venues must be listed on Google Maps in order to be verified.
