Suggested Configuration for steps tracking with Fitbit:

We recommend the below suggested configuration for Fitbit steps tracking whereby you can still track your steps through your phone using Apple Health (iOS) or Google Fit (Android). In these cases we recommend that you do not connect your Fitbit data to Apple Health or Google Fit as this may impact your total steps output due to a duplication of data.

To sync your Fitbit steps data to GoVida – open your Fitbit app and sync the data from your wearable to your Fitbit account. Once you’ve done this, open GoVida and refresh the your activity data.

GoVida will continue to take your phone steps data from Google Fit and Apple Health (if you have it configured correctly) allowing you to track steps while not using your Fitbit.

In periods where you are using both your phone and Fitbit, GoVida aggregates the data between the two sources to give a more accurate steps count.
